The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree provides registered nurses with the academic preparation to meet the professional standards for advancement in their institution or to meet the hiring qualifications required in more independent practice settings.

 

Admission Requirements

> Completion of an RN degree program
> Currently registered as an RN
> Current CPR and first aid/safety certification


Graduation Requirements

> Complete 31 advanced placement nursing credits.
> Complete 30 transfer general education credits.
> Complete 37 additional General Education requirement credits.
> Complete 26 BSN major requirement credits.
> Complete two writing intensive (WI) courses with a grade of "C" or better, one at the 300/400 level.
> Earn a major and cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
> Complete a minimum of 124 credits.
