
The Bachelor of Special Studies (BSS) provides working allied health professionals with the opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree by adding liberal arts to their health care education.
Depending on the allied health degree being transferred, students may transfer up to 90 credits toward the BSS degree.
In additional to the General Education requirements students must complete an adequate number of elective credits in an area of interest to complete the minimum of 120 credits for graduation.
> Complete a minimum of 30 credits at the 300/400 level.
> Complete two writing intensive (wi) courses with a grade of "C" or better, at the 300/400 level.
> Complete a minimum of 120 credits.
> The final 30 credits applied to the degree, or 45 of the last 60 credits, must be earned at St. Ambrose University to meet the residency requirement.
> Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale).
