As a student majoring in Multimedia Journalism, you will learn to create news, in-depth features, sports reports, and advertising content for all areas of print, electronic, and digital media.

The major also emphasizes research, interviewing, and reporting skills and trains students in the technologies used by communication professionals.

Students are encouraged to get involved with The Buzz campus newspaper. Graduates in this major typically choose jobs as writers, reporters and editors with newspapers, magazines, corporate communication departments, and creative agencies.
