The 48 credit hour program consists of 12 courses, written and oral comprehensive exams and a dissertation.
Written and oral comprehensives examine the student’s mastery of the management literature.
Under the guidance of a dissertation chair, students undertake and conduct a dissertation that represents an original contribution to the field of management.
Admission is selective and based on a number of criteria including personal interviews, letters of recommendation, performance on the GMAT, writing samples, prior work experience and career goals. Candidates must have a master’s degree. If the master’s degree is in an area other than business, additional coursework may be necessary.
