Upper Quarter Examinations and Treatments
The Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments presents Upper Quarter Examinations and Treatments. This course covers clinical examination and manual therapy interventions for the entire upper quarter utilizing a clinical reasoning approach. The course considers the current literature relative to management of common musculoskeletal conditions of the upper quarter including shoulder impingement, rotator cuff syndrome, shoulder instability, adhesive capsulitis, nerve entrapment syndromes and tendinopathy. Further emphasis is placed on differential diagnosis and the influence of the cervical and thoracic spine and neural dynamics on the upper extremity. The lab intensive course covers a variety of examination procedures and proven manual therapy interventions utilized to achieve optimum patient outcomes.
This course will be hosted at Rock Valley Physical Therapy, 2300 53rd Ave, Suite LL02, Bettendorf, IA, on Saturday, April 23-24, 2016 from 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
