Teaches courses in education and instrumental music education.

Extensive list of publications in the areas of: stress and burnout in music education; assessment in instrumental music education; and student teaching in music. Frequent presenter at state and regional music education conferences.

Strong advocate for the inclusion of technology in the classroom and the development of hybrid courses.
