Degree Requirements

Industrial Engineering Major

Students attending continuously but on a part-time basis are expected to complete the requirements within eight years.

Engineering requirements: ENGR 105 112, 220, 265, 270, 296, 302, 303, 450
Math requirements: MATH 191, 192, 290, 291, 300, 320
Physics requirements PHYS 251, 253
Chemistry requirements: CHEM 103 or 105
Ethics requirement: PHIL  207 or 305.
Industrial Engineering requirements: IE 305, 335, 340, 350, WI-351, 360, 391, 403, 415, 409, WI-490
Seminar Requirements: ENGR 201, 301, 401
Elective: one ME designated course, PHYS 306 or ENGR 320

GPA requirements: a minimum GPA of 2.50 must be earned for all semester credits used to satisfy the course requirements shown above, a minimum GPA of 2.00 in all IE and ENGR  prefix course numbers, MATH 191 and 192, or their equivalents, must be completed with a grade of C or better. A minimum overall GPA of 2.00 must be earned in the combination of semester credits and attempted transfer credits

Dual Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Major
