Experiences Beyond the Classroom

And our veteran faculty understand the skills you'll need to succeed in the working world by giving you plenty of experience, from your entry-level classes through the culminating Senior Design.
Professor Susa Stonedahl took research students to a local creek to investigate five cost-effective methods of generating stream outlines, which is key to measuring a stream's erosion or change in volume.
Engineering students from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA and Sweet Briar College near Lynchburg, VA collaborated to design assistive technologies for persons with disabilities in Brazil.
