The Finance, Economics, and Decision Sciences (FEDS) Department is dedicated to preparing students to be valuable contributors to society in general and business in particular.
Through a combination of a broad liberal arts education and a solid foundation of business courses, students become prepared for careers in Finance and Economics through coursework, projects and internship experiences. It's a solid foundation–paired with highly-developed analytic skills–that will give St. Ambrose graduates the edge to compete in a fast-paced global environment.
Whether it's working with venture capital or doing transactions in another country, many faculty members in the College of Business have real-world experience in business and finance which they bring to the classroom.
Economics majors at St. Ambrose are able to combine an education in liberal arts with economic theory to determine why people behave the way they do.
