Job opportunities for finance majors after graduation have been some of the fastest-growing positions over the last 10 years and are projected to continue to grow at the same fast pace through 2018 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Graduates of finance work in financial services, government and traditional corporations or continue on to graduate studies. Examples of placement of recent graduates are: Alcoa, Bank of America, Bank of New York Mellon, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Deere & Co., Goldman Sachs and US Bank.
Finance Majors are required to select a concentration appropriate to their projected career paths. These concentrations are Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Financial Economics.
