
Acceptance into the 3+2 program is acceptance for study through the master's level at St. Ambrose University, subject to the student maintaining good standing and the student electing to continue on for their master's study in the second year. Admissions only is available for the Fall Semester.
To qualify to study at St. Ambrose University, Guangdong students must:
TOEFL iBT: 18 on Reading, Speaking and Writing; 16 on Listening
TOEFL pBT: 53 on Reading; 56 on Writing; and 51 on Listening
ELTS: 5.5 on Reading, Speaking and Writing; 5.0 on Listening
If more applicants than the quota apply for admission to the 3+2 program, applicants will be selected based upon cumulative GPA at Guangdong University and the submitted letters of reference.
At the end of the first year, enrolled students will receive their Guangdong undergraduate degree upon maintenance of a 2.0 grade point average at St. Ambrose University. The applicant will continue on in to Master's study providing they remain a student in good standing. This requires that the student:
If these conditions are met, the student will automatically continue in the Master's program. In the final two semesters, the student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and earn no less than a C (2.00) in every course. Upon successful completion of the comprehensive examination, the student will then be awarded a Master's of Finance degree from St. Ambrose University.
