Dr. Gwin retired in Spring 2012 from the Department of Kinesiology but currently holds Professor Emeritus status and provides adjunct teaching services.
Her professional practice is centered on Teacher Education for K-12 Physical Education and K-12 Health Education. Main focus is on young child and elementary curriculum and instructional practices, including development of basic movement, rhythm skills and health literacy; and development of quality school curriculum and instruction knowledge, attitudes and skills.
