Dr. Gwin retired in Spring 2012 from the Department of Kinesiology but currently holds Professor Emeritus status and will provide adjunct teaching services.
Her professional practice is centered on Teacher Education for K-12 Physical Education and K-12 Health Education. Main focus is on young child and elementary curriculum and instructional practices, including development of basic movement, rhythm skills and health literacy; and development of quality school curriculum and instruction knowledge, attitudes and skills.
