The Department of Kinesiology maintains two student-centered laboratories that are used for a variety of courses and research opportunities for the Exercise Science Program.

The Human Performance Lab

Courses that utilize the Human Performance Lab:
KIN 390 Exercise Physiology
KIN 392 Exercise Testing for Healthy and Special Populations
KIN 440/441 Senior Research I & II

Equipment in the Human Performance Lab includes:
ParvoMedics TrueOne Metabolic Measurement System
PC based 12-lead EKG monitoring and stress test system
Blood lactate analysis
Blood glucose analysis
BioPac student lab modules
4 testing treadmills
3 Monark cycle ergometers
Standard anthropometric and body composition analysis equipment (skinfold BIA)
Heart rate monitors
Hand dynamometers
