The Master of Education in Educational Administration program at St. Ambrose University has an excellent reputation for educating effective administrators in public and private schools. The MEA prepares teachers pursuing careers as principals and school administrators. While participating in the program, candidates also strengthen their teaching skills. Graduates earn a master's degree, licensure as a pre K-12 administrator and supervisor of special education and receive an evaluator approval certificate.
Through the Loras/St. Ambrose Consortium for Educational Leadership (LSACEL), students benefit from the resources of two respected institutions, receiving individual attention with mentoring and coaching provided by expert faculty members and school leaders.
Graduate students also learn from each other in a cohort, where they gain a better understanding of the common issues faced by administrators.
