  • Internship experiences target specific areas and build enhanced skills, from ethical decision-making to participation in professional groups.
  • Class assignments focus on actual case studies. By discussing cases often based on personal experiences, students strengthen their connection with their schools and communities. Sample projects include organizing a family night at an alternative high school, redesigning the enrollment process for a school district, and assuming a leadership role in school accreditation.
  • Students with diverse backgrounds broaden perspectives in the classroom. Our students bring experiences from rural, urban, public and private school districts.
  • A summer class, Visioning and School Administration, focuses on school goals and developing a culture that allows schools to grow as professional learning communities.
