Online, Accelerated Curriculum

The Master of Education in Teaching program blends practical, theoretical and research-based instruction to enhance the skills and knowledge of licensed teachers. The coursework prepares students for the National Board assessment and portfolio submission.

• The program is tailored for working professionals with busy schedules and personal commitments. The 32-39 credit hour curriculum can be completed in two years in an accelerated format of eight-week courses that meet once per week.
• During the school year, courses are taught online in real-time to give students the convenience of learning anywhere, while maintaining a classroom atmosphere.
• Students can participate in some of the activities of the prestigious Eastern Iowa Writing Project held at St. Ambrose each summer.
