Financing a master’s degree might seem daunting, but our students quickly learn that a St. Ambrose education can be affordable (and worth every penny). 

Many local employers offer tuition assistance to their employees. Check with your Human Resources office to find out if these benefits are available to you.

Tuition and Fees

Rates for the 2016-2017 academic year (beginning with Summer 2016 term)
Tuition per credit hour (MOL Davenport) $816
Tuition per credit hour (MOL Cedar Rapids) $694

Tuition or a completed Tuition Payment Plan Agreement is due before your first class each semester.

When completing a Tuition Payment Agreement, students select one of the following five options for paying tuition:

  • Cash, check, or money order
  • Credit card or E-Check - only available through Beeline
  • Tuition Payment Plan (to pay in installments) - enroll through Beeline
  • Corporate reimbursement - enroll for an employer deferred payment plan through Beeline
  • Financial aid deferment

Refund Policy

According to the Federal guidelines, the MOL refund schedule is based on the number of classes attended between the beginning and ending dates of the course and the drop date.

  • 100% Refund – If student drops after attending one class session
  • 75% Refund – If student drops after attending two class sessions
  • 50% Refund – If student drops after attending three class sessions
  •  0% Refund – If student drops after attending four or more class sessions

Financial Aid

MOL students may be eligible for federal and state student aid when enrolled in six credits per semester (three credits in  the summer). In order to determine eligibility, students must complete the FAFSA each year. St. Ambrose University's Title IV school code is 001889.
