Clare Kennedy, MPAS, PA-C, is the founding director of the St. Ambrose University Master of Physician Assistant Studies program.
A native of Omaha, Neb., Kennedy has been a physician assistant since 1996. She worked for the South Lincoln Medical Group, Lincoln; the Cherry County Physicians Clinic, Valentine; the Midland Hospital Louisville Clinic, Louisville; and most recently, the Valentine Medical Clinic, Valentine, all of Nebraska.
From 2006 through 2011, Kennedy taught at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, serving as assistant professor, faculty service learning advisor and faculty mentor at the RESPECT student-run clinic for the underserved.
Earlier in her career Kennedy served as program director of the Rosebud Reservation Cancer Center, S.D., and telemedicine coordinator at the Rosebud Indian Health Service Hospital, Rosebud, S.D.
