Darci Becker

Darci Becker worked for 20 years at Genesis Medical Center as speech-language pathologist, working primarily with adults with neurogenic diagnoses. Becker is a Board Recognized Specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders.

She joined the Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program faculty in 2009. Becker's areas of interest include dysphagia, quality of life, aphasia, and geriatrics. Becker is interested in clinical research focusing on dysphagia. Becker teaches the Acquired Language and Cognitive Disorders, Dysphagia, Motor Speech Disorders, and Voice and Resonance Disorders courses. She enjoys spending time attending her childrens' activities, walking, and cooking/eating.
