Penny Cremeens' research interests include child language development and the effects of language deficits on family dynamics, adult-child interactions in families and in the provision of clinical and educational services, and training needs in SLP graduate programs. She has taught Diagnostics, Multicultural Assessment, Multicultural Intervention, Multicultural Study Abroad in Ecuador, Language Development and Disorders, Articulation and Phonological Disorders.
When she's not at school she likes cooking, kayaking, tai kwon do, and spending a lot of quality time with her Vizsla puppy, Cedar, and her rescued Australian Shepherd puppy, Zira Jane.
Dr. Cremeens worked with children across West Texas for 20 years. She served as Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University and joined the SAU Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program faculty in 2009.
