Jeffrey Knox was employed in the schools for 31 years, being both a SLP and the Chair of the Speech Pathology Program at Grant Wood AEA. He joined the Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program faculty in 2009. Knox has taught numerous courses for the department, including Diagnostics, Multicultural Assessment, Multicultural Intervention, Speech and Hearing Science, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, and Neurology, Anatomy, and Physiology for SLPs.

Knox has taught classes at the University of Iowa and, through the Iowa Television Network, to SLPs throughout the state of Iowa. Knox has presented at local, state, and national conferences, including a short course at ASHA. He has published many articles in journals over the years. His main research interests continue to be in the areas of assessment and intervention.

Currently, Knox is currently working on a project with Dave Krupke concerning improving the staff development training for Visual Phonics.

Knox enjoys reading, spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, bowling, walking, and being outside.
