Darci Becker, PhD, CCC-SLP, BRS-S

Darci Becker remains clinically active and has worked for over 24 years at Genesis Medical Center as speech-language pathologist, working primarily with adults with neurogenic diagnoses. Becker is a Board Certified Specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders.

She joined the Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program faculty in 2009. Becker's areas of interest include dysphagia, quality of life, aphasia, and geriatrics. Becker is interested in clinical research focusing on dysphagia. Becker teaches the Acquired Language and Cognitive Disorders, Dysphagia, Motor Speech Disorders, and Voice and Resonance Disorders courses. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, walking, and cooking/eating.
