German Studies at St. Ambrose University is an interdisciplinary program that develops translingual and transcultural proficiency by blending courses in German language, literature and culture with context courses in art, economics, history, philosophy, theology, international business and political science.

The German Studies minor has three core components:

  • GS through 202 (12 hours)

  • Study Abroad: a minimum of one short-term experience in Germany or Austria
