The French Language program seeks to expose majors to a variety of perspectives on French and Francophone cultures, civilizations, and histories.


German Studies at St. Ambrose University is an interdisciplinary program that develops translingual and transcultural proficiency by blending courses in German language, literature and culture with context courses in art, economics, history, philosophy, technology, international business and political science.


The Spanish major and minor consist of a combined program in Hispanic Cultural Studies and Hispanic Linguistics. St. Ambrose students also have the option of earning a Spanish Secondary Education Major.
