Ensembles are open to all students regardless of major. These groups perform at formal and informal events on campus and throughout the community, giving students performance experience before large, diverse audiences. SAU Ensembles also tour periodically throughout the Midwest and the United States.

An auditioned, all-male ensemble performing a wide variety of music ranging from Classical and Renaissance, all the way to Broadway, Pop and Blues.

An auditioned ensemble of about 12 singers who perform repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to Broadway.

Explore a wide variety of jazz and jazz-influenced styles. Students must audition for this group.

The St. Ambrose University String Ensemble provides SAU students and select community musicians an opportunity to perform orchestral string music.

LISTEN In the Hall of the Mountain King, Edvard Grieg (mp3)

STAMVOJA is a select, auditioned ensemble which performs music ranging from jazz to contemporary a cappella.

The primary instrumental group on campus, the Symphonic Band is open to students of all majors and gives several concerts throughout the year.

This non-auditioned mixed choral group is comprised of students from all majors performing a wide variety of music from many stylistic and historical periods.
