men's a cappella group

The men's a cappella group, Bee Sharp, in rehearsal

Ensembles are open to all students regardless of major. These groups perform at formal and informal events on campus and throughout the community, giving students performance experience before large, diverse audiences. SAU Ensembles also tour periodically throughout the Midwest and the United States.

What do they sound like? Give a listen below.

An auditioned, all-male ensemble performing a wide variety of music ranging from Classical and Renaissance, all the way to Broadway, Pop and Blues.

An auditioned ensemble of about 12 singers who perform repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to Broadway.

Explore a wide variety of jazz and jazz-influenced styles. Students must audition for this group.

The orchestra provides an opportunity for St. Ambrose students and community members to play music from the rich and varied orchestral repertoire.

An auditioned acappella ensemble, STAMVOJA primarily focuses on music of a jazz-influenced nature.

The primary instrumental group on campus, the Symphonic Band is open to students of all majors and gives several concerts throughout the year.

This non-auditioned mixed choral group is comprised of students from all majors performing a wide variety of music from many stylistic and historical periods.
