Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Faculty and students work closely together during classroom and clinical lab experiences.

The St. Ambrose Nursing Department offers an undergraduate program of study for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

The BSN program at St. Ambrose University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing.

The program is unique in that students complete more theory prior to their patient care experiences which extends time to acquire required nursing skills. Unlicensed first year and transfer students are identified as basic students as opposed to registered nurse students who are licensed without a BSN.
