- Graduates work in a variety of locations including hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient facilities, mental health facilities and public health departments.
- Ambrose alumni can be found working in health care facilities near and far. Approximately half of nursing graduates practice in the Quad Cities area, in institutions such as Genesis Health System and the University of Iowa. Other grads travel as far as Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and Texas. Employers include Mayo Clinic Health System, Baylor University and Rush University Medical Center.
- With education beyond the bachelor's degree, nurses can assume the roles of nurse administrator, nurse educator, nurse practitioner and nurse researcher.
- The Career Center hosts a health sciences career fair to assist in finding summer internships and jobs. The center also sponsors workshops to help you develop a resume and write cover letters.
