
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
Who Can Join Psi Chi?
Juniors and seniors at St. Ambrose with a declared Psychology major or minor, have a GPA of at least 3.6, and have completed at least 9 credit hours of psychology classes.
The Psi Chi Chapter and the Psychology Club hold joint meetings and events. Working together allows the groups to make a larger impact and offers more opportunities for their members. The Psychology Club provides any SAU student with an interest in Psychology to be a member and have an opportunity to be involved.
