Internships in Forensic Psychology

All Forensic Psychology majors are required to complete 3 semester hours of internship at one of our sites.

Some students elect to complete more credit hours (up to 6 is allowed). Students are placed at local criminal justice or human service agencies where they spend 8-10 hours per week at the site while receiving training and supervision by on-site staff.

The internship experience occurs during the Junior or Senior year. Students enrolled in an internship also meet weekly with a St. Ambrose faculty member for additional supervision and training.
