

Teaches courses both on the texts of the Bible and also on the varied ways that its ancient texts have been interpreted by the cultures and societies into which they have been absorbed.

Research and specialities include the Book of Tobit and other Deuterocanonical literature, The Bible and modern culture, intertestamental Judaism, New Testament Theology, the Gospel of Mark.

Teaches theology and religion, moral issues, social justice and bioethics and healthcare.

Teaches Catholic/Christian Systematic Theology (the study of church teachings, their relationships to one another, and their significance), as well as in Lay Ministry formation and Deacon Formation programs in the Diocese of Davenport.
