Alumni Participation Rate

Strength in Numbers logo

There's strength in numbers!
The number of alumni giving to St. Ambrose is just as significant as the dollars we raise!

What is it?
The Alumni Participation Rate refers to the percentage of alumni who give to St. Ambrose University, no matter how small or how large the gift. For many years, SAU has had an alumni participation rate lower than the national average.

What does it matter?
A high alumni participation rate for the Ambrose Fund carries weight in U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges ranking. A higher ranking means SAU is recognized as the excellent school that we all know it is! As St. Ambrose improves its alumni participation rate, the university attracts even more high-quality students; continues to recruit outstanding faculty; and improves key programs, while increasing financial support from foundations, corporations and other donors like you.
