Opt-in or opt-out?

IRS regulations require us to report to donors the fair market value of benefits associated with leadership giving.

The President's Club
Donors contributing $1,000 or more to St. Ambrose are recognized for their generosity through membership in the St. Ambrose University President's Club. Members receive an invitation for two to the President's Club dinner, a celebration of our most generous donors. IRS regulations require us to report to donors the fair market value of this benefit, valued at $90, because it may affect the deductibility of your gift. Donors also have the option to decline this benefit at the time of their gift. Please consult your tax advisor.

The 1882 Society
This year, the university established the 1882 Society of the President's Club in recognition of our founding. President's Club members contributing $1,882 or more to St. Ambrose receive an invitation for two to the President's Club dinner as well as two exclusive receptions. IRS regulations require us to report the fair market value to donors because these benefits, valued at $162, may affect the deductibility of your gift. Donors also have the option to decline these benefits at the time of their gift. Please consult your tax advisor.
