Student Emergency Fund
St. Ambrose's Student Emergency Fund is a fund for life's unforeseen circumstances that hinder any student from succeeding within the university community. It is supported by the campus community and provides one-time funding to students in emergency situations.
Student & Family Trivia Night
SAA proudly hosts a trivia night each school year! It's a fun activity for students, siblings of all ages, and parents to partake in for bragging rights between families and friends! The 10-round trivia competition includes categories from Disney to American history and everything in between! Cost is only $20 for a team of 4-8 players...and it's fun for the whole family!
SAA provides its members the fantastic opportunity to connect with alumni on a more personal level. Each spring, SAA invites St. Ambrose University alumni--ranging from recent graduates to graduates from 40 years ago--to come back and interact with students. This opportunity provides students with valuable interviewing skills and allows them to connect with alumni from a variety of career fields, including health and medicine, education, business, marketing, accounting, and more! After 10 five-minute rounds, SAA hosts a post-networking social for students and alumni to connect even further.
SAA participates in a number of activities over the Homecoming weekend:
Campus Tours SAA members provide campus tours for alumni. The St. Ambrose University campus has grown and changed tremendously over the years, and alumni enjoy the opportunity to see campus through the eyes of a current student.
Taste of Ambrose SAA hosts a table at the annual Taste of Ambrose event. Alumni, family, friends and students are invited to enjoy St. Ambrose cuisine while mingling with fellow Ambrosians prior to the Homecoming football game.
Partnerships with the Advancement and Alumni Engagement Office
Throughout each school year, SAA members are offered opportunities to participate in alumni and donor events hosted by the Advancement and Alumni Engagement Office. Members learn how to network and build valuable relationships with professionals, which can lead to internships, jobs, and life-long friendships.
