Campaign Initiatives
In 1999, St. Ambrose had a vision: to be recognized as a premier Catholic institution of higher learning in the Midwest which is dedicated to the development of the whole person -- mind, body, and spirit. To achieve that vision, we embarked upon an ambitious 10-year effort called Our Challenge & Promise: To Give. To Guide. To Grow. During this decade, St. Ambrose thrived with incredible growth in enrollment and dramatic improvements to our physical appearance and program offerings.

There were so many reasons to celebrate: eighteen new academic programs, 11 new building or major renovations, and 77 million raised in the past ten years! On August 25, 2010, a dinner honoring donors who gave $20,000 or more during this decade was held. The next day the Center for Health Sciences Education, the final capital project of this phase of the campaign, was dedicated and blessed, and a community celebration on the St. Ambrose campus followed.
