Father Bud gives a guided tour of Rome.

Ambrose's Italy 2013

The latest SAU Alumni tour with Saint Ambrose scholar, Fr. Bud Grant occured March 7-18, 2013.  Participants received a once in a lifetime opportunity to be in Vatican City as the new pope was announced.  Read about their experience.

Tour Details

You'll have an unforgettable adventure with Fr. Bud through Italy: two days in Milan, two days in Florence, one day in Assisi, five days in Rome, and two days of travel. Free time is built into each day's activities.

Fr. Bud, an expert on the university's patron saint, will lead the tour. Proficient in the Italian language, culture, and must-see sites, you're in good hands during this 11-day visit to the boot of Europe. Throughout this intensive visit, you will be intellectually, spiritually, socially, physically, and artistically enriched!

Travelers must be capable of walking for several hours a day, possibly in inclimate weather due to the time of year. Accommodations will be modest.
