The 8th annual Week of Caring, held Feb. 7-13, 2016, provided students a chance to support each other. Student Alumni Association members organized a raffle, chili sale, and Faculty/Staff Jeans Day to raise money and awareness for the Student Emergency Fund.
The Week of Caring is a week-long campaign to raise money for the St. Ambrose University Student Emergency Fund (SEF). The SEF is a fund for life's unforeseen circumstances that hinder any student from succeeding within the university community. It is a student-initiated fund that serves the student body in a way that no other campus fund does. At the discretion of a committee, the SEF provides one-time, short-term funding for emergency situations.
Donations are accepted all year and can be sent to the St. Ambrose Advancement and Alumni Engagement Office care of Paige Nagle, 518 W. Locust St., Davenport, IA 52803 or can be made online. Make a gift now to the Student Emergency Fund.
