The concept of having junior and senior students live in individual campus houses on city streets but still be a part of the campus residential community is a unique component of St. Ambrose living. The houses community allows students to get a taste of life after college and encourages responsibility and growth. Residence life and campus security ensure safety to the houses community by regularly doing walk through's and thorough rounds of the neighborhood.

So how do the houses keep connected to the rest of campus?

The Resident Assistants employed specifically for the houses community are vigilant about making sure the residents know all that is happening on campus. They also execute programs that encourage residents of the houses to leave their living rooms and come on to campus. The houses community is a perfect blend of college student and post grad life. It is a space for learning, growing and truly understand what it is to be a good neighbor.
