All the way from Knoxville, Tenn., Alyssa is a senior at St. Ambrose and will be working as the Academic Community Advisor in North Hall this year. Born and raised in the Quad Cities, Alyssa wanted to return to Davenport from Tennessee for college. Alyssa is on track to receive an elementary education undergraduate degree and hopes to pursue her graduate degree in speech pathology. You can also find her working in the President's Office here at St. Ambrose University. Alyssa is looking forward to her third year as a part of SAU Residence Life and is eager to build an incredible community in North Hall.

Jonathan Ottenfeld will be going into his sophomore year, and it will be his first time as a part of the Res Life staff. Jonathan is from Evergreen Park, Ill., and is majoring in sport management. Along with joining Res Life, Jonathan plays for St. Ambrose's baseball team. He has a deep love and respect for his family that have helped him to get to where he is today. While being in North Hall, Jonathan will ensure that his residents will strive to "bee" all that they can bee. Jonathan also has a wonderful sense of humor.

Emily Donath is in her third year here at St. Ambrose. Originally from Dubuque, Iowa, she came to Ambrose for the nursing program. With that, her major is nursing and she plans on becoming a nurse practitioner in hopefully, a birthing unit. In her free time she likes to watch movies, hang out with friends, and spend time with her nephew. In the summer and during breaks, she works at Petsmart as a cashier, in pet care taking care of all the animals, and bathes dogs. She is very out-going, friendly, and super excited to start her second semester with Residence Life. She is excited to get to know her residents and make this year fun and entertaining. Feel free to ask her anything, as she likes to help anyway she can!

Emilee Steinbach is a junior and early childhood education major at St. Ambrose University. She grew up in Newton, Iowa, with her parents, four siblings, and two dogs. After being an RA in Davis Hall this past year, she is looking forward to working with the Academic Community in North Hall! When Emilee is not in class, she can be found working in the Honeybee Room at the Children's Campus, enjoying practicum experience at Davenport's elementary schools, and spending time with friends. She is looking forward to the new school year and spending time with the ladies on her floor!

Brady Frieden is a senior from Davenport, Iowa, majoring in biology and physical therapy. This will be Brady's third year on board as a resident advisor. In his free time Brady enjoys to watch sports such as football and baseball, and help out his community by being the student director of Teens for Tomorrow. When he isn't studying, Brady loves music and singing as well as spending time with friends, working out, or showing off his gaming skills on the XBox 360. Brady loves to smile and is always open to meeting new people!

Alyssa is thrilled to be starting her first semester as an RA in North Hall! She is from Roanoke, a tiny farm town in Central Illinois. She is a Psychology major and recently started St. Ambrose's Master of Occupational Therapy program. She is passionate about OT and especially working with children. She spends her summers working at a day camp for children with Autism. She loves to dance and is also an SAU cheerleader. If you smell popcorn in the building it is most likely coming from her room and she will never turn down an invitation to join you for ice cream or coffee. Alyssa can't wait for a great semester!

Lauren is a senior at St. Ambrose coming from Crown Point, Ind. This is Lauren's third year with the Residence Life Team. She is so happy to be continuing her Residence Life career with the sophomore academic girls in North Hall. She is closing in on a degree in elementary education with an endorsement in mathematics. She will be student teaching in the spring! Beyond Residence Life, Lauren can be found with friends, studying, tutoring, peer mentoring, or with Phi Eta Sigma. She studied abroad last winter in Italy and recommends that everyone studies abroad in their college career. She also recommends that everyone should take a service trip. Last year she took a wonderful trip to East St. Louis and will continue to do service this year. If you have any questions or want to know more, just ask!
