The interview is the employer's chance to find out if you appear as capable in person as your resume indicates.
Think of the interview as an opportunity for both you and the employer to decide if this is the right job for you. To help prepare you for the interview, the Career Center offers seminars, handouts, and mock interviews.
Mock interviews with local employers are offered during our Career Boot Camps in the fall. This may be the only time you will receive honest feedback and suggestions regarding your interviewing skills from an employer.
If you are unable to attend mock interviews with an employer, please make sure to schedule a mock interview with a Career Center professional by calling 563/333-6339.
Make sure you check out all of the great information on interviewing in the student portal.
