Because the St. Ambrose Children's Campus is one of the premiere child care and pre-school centers in the Quad Cities, there is frequently a waiting list due to the demand of our high-quality services. Families who wish to enroll their children at SAUCC are encouraged to contact us well in advance of when you will need child care services. Openings usually occur at the beginning of the Spring (mid-January) and Fall (mid-August) semesters.
We serve children from 6 weeks to 6 years, including children with disabilities.
Each of the five classrooms has a lead and an assistant teacher. Minimum qualifications for the lead teacher are a bachelor's degree in early education and two years of teaching experience. Minimum qualifications for each assistant teacher are an associate's degree in child development and two years of teaching experience.
During the school year, there are often two St. Ambrose University early childhood education students in addition to two teachers in each classroom.
