On a St. Ambrose advantage

"If I miss class, my professor notices."

In her own words

What is your favorite St. Ambrose tradition?

Definitely Midnight Breakfast. I love food and, whenever Midnight Breakfast comes along, I hardly eat all day so I can fill up on candy and pancakes and sausage and brownies and everything else they have. It's so good, I dream about it.

How do you give back to your community?

I usually try to give back when I am on breaks. In the summer, I volunteer at homeless shelters. During Christmastime in the Quad Cities, it's really nice because we have the Festival of Trees. I volunteer every day there. You can do any volunteer position you want, and it's really great because you see kids happy and everyone enjoying the Christmas spirit. It's one of my favorite events in the Quad Cities.

Why should parents want their children to choose St. Ambrose?

St. Ambrose is kind of like another parent. As a student, you have freedom but you're also still watched closer than you are at a big university. You aren't just left to fall through the cracks. If I miss class, my professor notices.
