St. Ambrose University marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his On the Origin of Species with a year-long program featuring lectures, artistic performances and exhibits reflecting upon how Darwin's ideas re-centered our human species' relationship with nature, and continue to be a focal point for intellectual and social debate.
"All that we observe as biologists is part of a large tapestry with evolutionary theory as its unifying thread."
Dr. Richard Legg
