Welcome to the College of Business at St. Ambrose University!
Founded in 1882 on the twin pillars of seminary and commerce, St. Ambrose University is proud to say it has been developing business leaders for more than 132 years! Today, the College of Business is comprised of more than 75 full- and part-time faculty and support staff, and offers a full range of undergraduate and graduate business degrees.
Dare to compare us with others in the region and you'll find we are not only affordable, but an excellent investment, offering all the breadth and depth of large, public universities, but in a smaller, personal environment. Here, we get to know you, and you can expect us to be your window into a prosperous business career.
We are known throughout the region for excellence in the preparation of undergraduates for entry-level positions, as well as Master's level programming in nearly every field: Master of Accounting-MAcc, Master of Business Administration-MBA, and Master of Organizational Leadership-MOL. Our Doctor of Business Administration-DBA contributes to the preparation of the next generation of business educators and administrators and is often viewed as a capstone accomplishment for professionals employed in the industrial setting.
So, if your career plans include Business or Communication fields (really, all careers do!), you'll want to schedule an appointment for a campus visit and get ready for some personal attention from our faculty and staff. You'll want to hear first-hand about the value of international experience at one of our many locations around the world; exciting class projects that link you arm-in-arm with local business leaders; and the importance and availability of internships as pathways to your first position.
Or, investigate how an advanced degree can increase your mobility, whether within your current organization or as you change firms. At St. Ambrose, your career preparation is our #1 priority!
Get started on your adventure! Reach us directly through this website, or through the Admissions Office.
At St. Ambrose we know business. We'd like to get to know you!
