The College of Health and Human Services at St. Ambrose University, located in a Catholic University with a strong liberal arts tradition, prepares proficient and ethical professionals through innovative programs in the health sciences, human services and education.
Faculty and staff of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) believe that all individuals involved with the preparation of future teachers and health sciences professionals, as well as the individuals preparing to enter those professions, must conduct themselves in manner consistent with that expected by their respective professions, and must meet the expectations established through each profession's code of ethics.
Faculty, staff and students in the CHHS must respect the inherent worth, dignity and human rights of all individuals, and maintain compassionate, respectful, and caring relationships with colleagues and others. We are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and collaboration with interdisciplinary and community-based partnerships. Our graduates provide services that enhance human resources and foster life-long learning in a diverse and global society.
