Rogalski Center Ballroom, for graduates, families, and guests. Tickets may be purchased beginning April 1 at Commencement Brunch.
Menu includes scrambled eggs, cheesy hash brown bake, French toast triangles, ham, pastries, fruit, coffee and assorted drinks. Tickets, $9 per person, $4 youth age 6-12. Free for children age 5 and under, must have a ticket.
Prior to 11:45 a.m., Candidates line up for processional
Enter through the Employee Entrance door on the south side of the iWireless Center (directly beneath the skywalk). Follow the hallway to the check-in table. Professional staff will help you get in line.
11:30 a.m., Doors open for guests
1 p.m., Commencement Ceremony

Thursday, March 3
3 - 7 p.m., Grad Finale, Rogalski Center Ballroom
During Grad Finale students may order their cap/gown, announcements and other graduation memorabilia. Caps and gowns can be purchased from the Jostens website until March 22. Contact the Bookstore at 563/333-6336 if you were unable to attend the Grad Finale to purchase your cap and gown. Order online at Jostens.
Tuesday, March 22
Deadline to apply for graduation. Students applying after this deadline will not be listed in the printed Commencement Program, no exceptions.
Thursday, May 5
6 p.m., Student Awards Night
Honoring award recipients. Awards are given for membership in honor societies as well as departmental awards. Students receiving awards will be notified by the Student Services Office. Contact Student Activities for further information at 563/333-6023.
Before May 6
Deadline to pay the $35 graduation fee to Student Accounts. This covers the cost of final degree audit, diploma, and diploma cover. Please make sure to clear any outstanding restrictions with the Library, Athletics Office, Student Accounts, Bookstore, or Student Services.
Final exams for all students, Monday through Friday.

4 p.m., Medaling Ceremony for Graduating Veterans, Rogalski Center
Thursday, May 12
5 p.m., Commencement Rehearsal, Galvin Fine Arts Center
Undergraduate student attendance at rehearsal is required if you are going to attend the Commencement Ceremony. Attendance for Master degree candidates is optional. If you are not able to attend rehearsal, please email McAleerWilliamJ@sau.edu after May 10 so that instructions can be given to you.

Tuesday, May 31
Diplomas may be picked up after this date in the Office of the Registrar during regular business hours (8:30 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday–Friday). Diplomas not picked up by June 7 will be mailed to graduate’s permanent address. If you’d like your diploma mailed before June 7, email Bill McAleer with the address of where it should be sent. Diplomas will not be released until all restrictions have been cleared.
