Spring Commencement Schedule of Events

9 a.m., Mass
Christ the King Chapel

10 a.m., Brunch
Rogalski Center Ballroom, for graduates, families, and guests. Beginning April 1, reservations will be available for purchase at Commencement Brunch Reservations.
Menu includes scrambled eggs, cheesy hash brown bake, french toast triangles, ham, pastries, fruit, coffeee and assorted drinks..
$9/person, $4 youth age 6-12. Free for children age 5 and under, reservations required.

Prior to 11:45 a.m., Candidates line up for processional
Enter through the Employee Entrance door on the south side of the iWireless Center (directly beneath the skywalk). Follow the hallway to the check-in table. Professional staff will help you get in line.

11:30 a.m., Doors open for guests

1 p.m., Commencement Ceremony

Other Events and Deadlines

Thursday, May 4
6 p.m., Student Awards Night
Honoring award recipients. Awards are given for membership in honor societies as well as departmental awards. Students receiving awards will be notified by the Student Services Office. Contact Student Activities for further information at 563/333-6023.

Before May 5

Deadline to pay the $35 graduation fee to Student Accounts. This covers the cost of final degree audit, diploma, and diploma cover. Please make sure to clear any outstanding restrictions with the Library, Athletics Office, Student Accounts, Bookstore, or Student Services. 

May 8-12
Final exams for all students, Monday through Friday.

Monday, May 8
4 p.m., Medaling Ceremony for Graduating Veterans, Rogalski Center Ballroom

Thursday, May 11
5 p.m., Commencement Rehearsal, Galvin Fine Arts Center
Undergraduate student attendance at rehearsal is required if you are going to attend the Commencement Ceremony.  Attendance for Master degree candidates is optional.  If you are not able to attend rehearsal, please email after May 10 so that special instructions can be given to you.

Friday, May 12
5 p.m., Hooding Ceremonies

Diploma Pick-Up

Diplomas may be picked up after this date in the Records and Registration Office during regular business hours (8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday). Diplomas not picked up by June 7 will be mailed to graduate's permanent address. If you'd like your diploma mailed before June 7 email Bill McAleer,
