11 a.m., Commencement Ceremony begins

Other Events and Deadlines
Students may order their cap/gown, announcements and other graduation memorabilia. Caps and gowns can be purchased from the Jostens website until Oct. 30. Order online at Jostens.
Tuesday, October 18
Deadline to apply for graduation. Students applying after this deadline will not be listed in the printed Commencement Program, no exceptions.
Thursday, December 8
Deadline to pay the $35 graduation fee to Student Accounts. This covers the cost of final degree audit, diploma, and diploma cover. Please make sure to clear any outstanding restrictions with the Library, Athletics Office, Student Accounts, Bookstore, or Student Services.
Monday, December 12
4 p.m., Medaling Ceremony for Graduating Veterans
Medals will be presented to graduating military veterans and service members in recognition of their achievement, to be affixed to graduation attire for the Dec. 17 commencement ceremony. A reception with light refreshments will follow. The ceremony will take place in the Rogalski Center.
Final exams for all students, Monday through Friday.
Thursday, December 15
5 p.m., Commencement Rehearsal, Christ the King Chapel
Undergraduate student attendance at rehearsal is required if you are going to attend the Commencement Ceremony. Attendance for Master degree candidates is optional. If you are not able to attend rehearsal, please email Bill McAleer after December 13 so that special instructions can be given to you.
Friday, December 16
5 p.m., Hooding Ceremonies
College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and the College of Health and Human Services will hold a joint hooding Ceremony in the Galvin Fine Arts Center. Immediately following the hooding ceremony, a reception for the graduate students and their families will be held in Cosgrove Hall. Contact your graduate program directly with any questions.
8 p.m., Nursing Pinning Ceremony, Galvin Fine Arts Center
Wednesday, January 11
Diplomas may be picked up after this date in the Office of the Registrar during regular business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday). Diplomas not picked up by January 18 will be mailed to graduate's permanent address. If you'd like your diploma mailed before January 18, email Bill McAleer with the address of where it should be sent. Diplomas will not be released until all restrictions have been cleared.
