Isn't counseling only for people who are crazy or have a mental problem?

Definitely not! Most students during their college experience run into some rough spots as they adapt to new situations and the many internal changes that occur during this period of time. At times, it is not unusual to feel sadness, anger, depression, anxiety, or to have some other concern that may be helpful to sort out with someone not so directly involved with the situation.

The Counseling Center can provide you with a trained professional, in a confidential setting, that can assist you in sorting through the issue and in developing strategies and skills to address it.
