Undergraduate level students are eligible for many different types of aid. federal and state grants and scholarships, as well as Federal Student Loans. You must file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid to find out if you are eligible. Once you file, your information will be sent to the Financial Aid Office for review. The Financial Aid Office will notify you if you are eligible for these different types of aid as well as any insitutional funding from the university.
Once you have completed an undergraduate bachelor's degree and are entering a master's or doctorial level program, you are considered a graduate level student. Graduate level students are not eligible for any types of federal, state, or institutional grants or scholarships. Graduate level students are only eligible for Federal Student Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans, or Private Alternative Loans. You must file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be eligible. Once you file, the Financial Aid Office will receive your information and notify you of the Federal Loans you are eligible for.
