To be eligible for the following programs, you must be a resident of Iowa as defined by the State Board of Regents.
- The Iowa Tuition Grant Program awards range from $471 to $4,000, depending on the student's need and the college's or university's tuition and fees. To apply for an Iowa Tuition Grant, you must be currently enrolled, or planning to enroll, for at least three hours in an undergraduate degree program at an eligible Iowa college or university. The federal FAFSA form is used as the application and must be filed by July 1 of the award year.
- The Iowa Grant Program is designed for exceptionally needy undergraduate Iowa students attending NCA accredited colleges and universities in the State of Iowa. Iowa Grants, available for full- and part-time students, range from $100 to $1,000 and are intended to promote access to Iowa colleges and universities. Due to limited funding, only a selected number of applicants will be assisted.
