Our program has produced 32 graduates, 30 of which have taken and passed the APTA clinical specialist examination in orthopaedics.
The SAU Physical Therapy Department now offers a Certificate in Manual Therapy (CMT), which demonstrates that the practitioner has completed all requirements related to a series of weekend courses in manual therapy.
In conjunction with our clinical partners, we will now admit physical therapists who have earned their DPT from other accredited programs and who have clinical experience prior to starting the residency.
Residents are taking a course related to pain from one of the leading scholars and educators in the study of therapeutic neuroscience and pain.
SAU presented more posters at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) National Conference than any other program.
